10 Reasons you’re not making sales daily… yet. - an in-depth breakdown - over the last 90 days i’ve been making at least one sale a day… I’ve also had an amazing series of challenges, setbacks & false starts since I started. Hiring bad fit team members… Overworking… Shutting everything down and restarting… While there’s a lot of reasons why i see people get stuck with their sales… From the 100+ clients i’ve sold for or coached, there are clear patterns. here are the 10 main reasons I see hold most back from making sales daily: 1. SALES BURNOUT Sales is counter-intuitive. We think the more selling and talking and convincing we do… The more sales we’ll make. The inverse is true. Because… What you tell them is trash. What they tell themselves is treasure. The more you pitch = the more you confuse The more you ask = the more clarity you give People burn out from sales calls because they feel they need to sell. No, friend. Convincing is hard. Getting them to convince themselves is easy. Adopt a sales process that pre-sells them… And take them through a questions that makes them sell themselves. ^Once I made this switch I stopped going to bed with a migraine. And easily doubled my closing rates while getting the prospect to do all the work. 2. MESSAGING MESS You can post daily. Have the flashiest reels. But if the right clients aren’t reaching out… Your messaging is the problem. How to know if it’s working? You start making sales without the need for a sales call. If you’re still getting way too many… “I don’t have money for this” “It’s not the right time” “I can’t affort it” You haven’t been making the right changes in your messaging. Sure you can help SOME people overcome these objections. But if 5 out of 10 people that reach out give you a money objection… You could be a few messaging tweaks away from winning big. Because your monthly $ is determined by how well you speak to the right buyer without your messaging. 3. FRANKEN-FUNNELS When i first start working with a lot of clients… Their acquisition strategy looked like it walked about of a mad scientist lab. 3 different video sales letters. Random email launches. Non-existent credibility posts. Pitch-o-mania. Or… There was one funnel but the messaging was a mess . (aka.. what you’re putting out there isn’t attracting the right people) here’s how it looks for me & my clients Conversion Content v DM chats v Sell in chat or a sales call. There’s so many ways to sell and get clients. The challenge? Hopping from strategy to strategy and script to script. Strategies evolve… But the principles remain: Attract cold. Nurture warm. Sell hot. Want sales daily? Follow this. 4. SELF LEADERSHIP You feel frustrated… Because you’ve outgrown the person you were getting to 10k months and getting a sale here and there. You feel you need to be playing a bigger game. But your self-leadership hasn’t changed. Once you change how lead YOURSELF… You’ll change how you lead your prospects. Not only you’ll make sales easier. But you’ll have more fun doing it too. Because you’re selling from a place of congruency. 5. VISION MIS-ALIGNMENT When your vision is clear… You are unfazed about the outcomes of your sales conversations. Conviction is pouring out of your skin because you know you’ll get exactly what you want. This used to be you. But the daily hustle, the daily conversations, the daily rejection… They can rob you of that vision. Now you’re taking it too seriously. You find yourself pressing people… Beating yourself up wondering what did you do wrong… All that internal pressure comes up because you’ve got too sucked in the day to day. When you recalibrate your vision and set a clear gameplan… The pressure is off. You execute. And the sales notifications start flashing up again. 6. The DO-IT-ALONE PATH I don’t know if anyone told you? But no matter if you’re running your expert biz or selling for others. You’re not supposed to do everything. You’re not good at it. You’re not meant to be. The first hire that at least DOUBLED my efficiency? An assistant. Because the truth is… If you don’t currently have an assistant, you are the assistant. Find the right one. Get them to follow a predictable process. And watch as you elevate to a whole new level of production. 7. ONLY-CALL CLOSES Big sabotaging belief: People only buy high ticket on the phone. I’m just wondering… How many sales you’ve missed out on because you’re forcing people into… A “strategy call” A “gameplan session” A “triage conversation” Fancy words that all mean the same thing: “Let’s spend 45 minutes together so I can sell you” Ugh. The top buyers have a LOT of resistance around hopping on sales calls. So if you don’t have a predictable process to win the sale in the DMs? They’ll keep postponing it until you start. I’ve sold deals up to $25,000 without a sales call. You should start too;) 8. OUTBOUND ALLERGY You’re sitting pretty waiting for people to come to you. Nothing wrong with that… But doubling your sales won’t come by “doubling down” on inbound. It’ll come through strategic WARM outbound and inviting people into your world. You’ve rejected it so far because your inbox is full of spam and scam. Yet done the right way? Outbound could propel you from weekly conversations to daily… Your next level of growth lies behind doing the work you fear most. 9. Abdicating Responsibility Look… Our behavior dictates other people’s behavior. How we show up impacts how others show up. Who we are as clients is absolutely related to our own results. If we don’t take responsibility for our results… Why would your prospects take responsibility for their results? Excuses breed excuses. It’s not the market. It’s not “prospects are fearful”. It’s not the old or new generation. It’s your beliefs. Your skillset. Your ability to adapt. The more you point the finger to external factors for you being stuck? The harder it will be for you to get UNstuck. Taking responsibility to make moves and changes? It’s IMO, a pre-requisite to have extraordinary success in all areas of sales, biz & life. 10. YOU’RE INTERESTED, NOT COMMITTED Probably the most common. And I was giving some tough love to a client yesterday about this. If there’s ONE thing i see cripple most peoples sales efforts? The inability to stay the path. Send some DMs. Do some outbound. Host a webinar. Run an ad. Publish a YT video. Shoot a reel. Pitch an offer. Launch a lower ticket offer. Change biz model. Bunny rabbit jumping from strategy to tactic to strategy… Then wonder what’s going wrong. The thing is? ANYTHING CAN WORK. But EVERYTHING will NOT work. Most people waste time being INTERESTED about multiple directions… But never COMMIT to ONE direction. Pick A direction and make it RIGHT. Instead of spinning your wheels looking for the right direction. Most people quit right before it was just about to all add up big time. I am ADD. I feel you. But unless you COMMIT to taking action as the person you want to become? You’ll never see what you’re capable of. —— that’s the big 10. I could add another 20.
